Zone
Orenius Marika
'Zone' investigates different public spheres in Glasgow and the mental states they represent. The locations of the video are a football stadium, a shopping center, a disco and a church. Light has an important role in 'Zone', also in a philosophical sense, for it comments on the way we live today. Natural light was once the only source of illumination, yet in the modern age of technology, electric light saturates everything, blinding us and overloading our senses.
