Heavenly bodies (II)

Orenius Marika

Heavenly Bodies is a poetic two-channel video work. The protagonist experiences feelings of compassion when going through news reports about the Fritzl family tragedy that happened in Austria in 2008. She is shown living in a doll's house with the sky as a ceiling. The open ceiling and twinkling stars remind of hope and possibility of life somewhere else.
