We’re a Happy Family I-II
Lecklin Johanna
Two silent videos present social situations in which the unsaid thoughts of the attendees are subtitled. A tense Christmas dinner where the father is secretly planning a trip, whilst the mother is afraid of wine ruining the tablecloth. A fancy party with wine and cigars, the subtitles cut through over the small talk: someone forgot to feed the cat.
