Kallinen Mikko
w i t h i n is an experimental dance film shot in a natural forest where fallen and decaying trees are left untouched, reflecting an ecological approach that also informed the production process. All filming trips were made using public transport, and the soundtrack is composed solely of acoustic sound sources, including the dancer’s voice and bodily sounds recorded on site. The movement vocabulary of the work, filmed from the dancer’s perspective, focuses primarily on the legs and hands.
