Kallinen Mikko
A dance film that investigates movement less through a dancer's physical body than through his costume fitted with lights which he wears in a dark space. The choreography advances from the movements of abstract dots of light towards the visible, physical dancer.

Mikko Kallinen
Born: 1965
Mikko Kallinen (& The Company) has made several live choreographies since 1992. They have been performed in Finland as well as in London, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Paris. For the past ten years Kallinen has been working more with the projects combining new technology with interactivity, video dance design, animation and computer music to dance. Kallinen has studied dance in Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dace in London and Merce Cunningham Studio in New York.
