The video is based on the interaction between artificial 3D world and a human being, dancer. In im…pulse the human body and the moving architecture are the opposite forces. On one hand technological evolution moulds dancer on both physical and mental level, on the other the dancer affects the process. The video evokes a question: Does this interaction create new ways of comprehending body image?

Born: 1965
Mikko Kallinen (& The Company) has made several live choreographies since 1992. They have been performed in Finland as well as in London, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Paris. For the past ten years Kallinen has been working more with the projects combining new technology with interactivity, video dance design, animation and computer music to dance. Kallinen has studied dance in Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dace in London and Merce Cunningham Studio in New York.
