A dive to the depths of sorrow and back to life again. The short film shows how a person observes everyday environment after facing the loss of a beloved one. Normal things gain symbolic value and some events become totally absurd when they have lost their meaning altogether.

Minna Parkkinen
Born: 1964
Minna Parkkinen is a visual artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Turku. Parkkinen is currently working on digital film formats but has also extensive experience working with hand processed analogue film, which she studied in Spain and the United States. Her works deal with human emotion and the subconscious, and her films have been characterised as poetic. Parkkinen has also transferred the images of the films to other materials. Her experimental films have been screened at more than 30 international film festivals and galleries, and the films have been awarded with honorable mentions.
