Minna Parkkinen is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Turku working with film, photography and three-dimensional art. She also has extensive experience working with hand processed analogue film, which she studied in Spain and the United States. Her works deal with human emotion and the subconscious and her films have been characterized as poetic. Her experimental short films have been awarded honorary mentions and screened at dozens of international film festivals. In addition to her solo exhibitions, her art have been shown in group exhibitions in Finland, Brazil and South Korea.
