Easy Pressure

Marcus Lerviks

A two-part installation comprised of a video and a sound piece. A loudspeaker intermittently omits deep bass frequencies whilst a nearby monitor plays a film of a person pressing and dragging his face across an invisible surface, which in the installation becomes the surface of the screen. The work manifests a tension between two objects trying to communicate.
