Lerviks Marcus

This three-part video installation builds tension through a javelin appearing to fly from one monitor to the other. Between the two monitors there is a projection of power cables, as filmed from a moving train. The starting point of the work comes from the will to go on, as seen through sports.

Marcus Lerviks lives and works in Vaasa, Finland. He holds MFAdegree from the University of Art and Design Helsinki. His works are typically installations employing video, spatial elements, lights and sound, and they often have a performative dimension.
