Myllylä Salla

The video consists of five one-minute episodes. In each of them an everyday object – a plant, a piece of furniture, a vehicle – is ”freed from its environment” by painting or scratching a mask. For a moment the result looks like a still life, but something always fails: the season changes, the ship leaves, the light moves or the rain washes away the paint.
