Pauliina

Niemi-Junkola Fanni

Pauliina explores the border between public an private by a strip-tease performance that is taken out of its usual context. I shot Pauliina in the strip-tease club where she works. Then I invited her to my house to perform the usual stripper-routine in my living room. The filming was done in daylight. Rather than focusing on the social aspects of strip tease, my aim was to transfer her presence to the viewer.
