The Vanishing Scheme is a fragmented story about power games in a relationship. The dreamlike scenes show a woman in her bedroom. Some sporty men appear in the room. The playful encountering changes into a violent act. In the end the woman surprises the men.

Sari Tervaniemi is a visual artist from Rovaniemi and currently lives and works in Helsinki, Finland. She graduated with a BA degree from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in 1997 and with MA from the Slade School of Fine Art in London in 1999. Tervaniemi works with video and photography. Her works have been shown in several international exhibitions, including White Box in New York, Pristine Gallery in Monterrey, Mexico (2012), the Finnish Museum of Photography (2010) and MUU Gallery (2006) in Helsinki as well as in many film screenings and festivals.
