Joe
Teemu Mäki
An adaptation of Samuel Beckett's Eh, Joe. Beckett wrote the piece in April and May 1965 for Jack McGowran, who played Joe in the first television version, for BBC 2, in 1966. It is about a lonely man both tortured and flattered by a female voice in his head. The voice keeps reminding him of a sad relationship that ended with the suicide of a woman the man had deserted.
