Multi-channel cylindrical video installation with a surround soundtrack by Sebastian Mundwiler. The imagery for this work was captured on the island of Utö, where the artist managed to find a place where there was nothing built by man to be seen, regardless of the viewing direction.

Ilkka Pitkänen (b. 1981) is a Helsinki-based visual artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans media art, moving image, photography, installation, and performance. He earned a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki, in 2013. His work has been exhibited both in Finland and internationally.
