Before Rain
Näsänen Elena
'Before rain' is a black and white film about a young urban couple. The film consists of ten short sequences in 'film noir' style. Each sequence could be taken from everyday life. The suspense in and between each sequence dominates, something has happened or is about to happen. What it is, is not revealed. Each character appears only once in the film and the connection between the characters remains open. The soundtrack includes dramatic orchestral film music.
