Submit your new title(s) for our next festival catalogue – this year’s visiting curator is Martin Grennberger

AV-arkki invites all artists working with moving image to submit their new title(s) for AV-arkki’s distribution catalogue 2025-2026. For the catalogue, we are looking for primarily single channel works that are/will be released in 2025 or 2026. The works can be in post-production phase or lacking some finishing touches but they must be already previewable. The visiting curator this year is Martin Grennberger. (Photo: Andreas Bertman).

The distribution catalogue is mainly aimed for festival distribution and other screenings and is a showcase of the newest works in our distribution. All new single channel works submitted to AV-arkki’s online service after September 1st, 2024 will be considered automatically – you do not need to submit them again!

The deadline for submissions is Friday, August 8th, 2025.

The visiting curator for our next distribution catalogue is Martin Grennberger

Martin Grennberger is a critic, writer and film programmer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Grennberger has curated screenings in New York (Light Industry), Stockholm, Saint Petersburg (IFF Message to Man), Seoul (EXiS Experimental Film and Video Festival), Uppsala Short Film Festival, Berlin (Arsenal), among other places.

Submitting your works for our distribution catalogue and online archive

Please submit your work to be considered for the catalogue by August 8th, 2025. With this same call for works, we are also inviting artists to submit older works for our online archive.

Please use this form, if you already have works in AV-arkki’s archive.

Please use this form, if you DON’T yet have any works in AV-arkki’s archive.

We need a preview link and basic information of the work. We will ask master files and stills after the selections have been made (in early September). We kindly ask you to deliver the requested materials promptly after you receive our confirmation email. The Archiving Committee will make their decisions concerning the older works during autumn.

More information in our FAQ.

Please note: The full implementation of catalog distribution in 2026 requires that AV-ark’s operational resources remain at the level of previous years. If our operations are subject to funding cuts in the coming year, catalogue distribution may have to be reduced.
