Tree Moon Bone
Suoniemi Minna
In Puu kuu luu (Tree Moon Bone) a female figure tentatively strokes the roots of a large fallen tree. The tree roots form a shape resembling a placenta and blood veins that echo in the contours of the human figure’s hands. Similarities between these bodies of water – human and tree – are also interwoven in the audio, which blends uncanny subterranean and underwater sounds.
