Whirl
Beraud Clément
Whirl is a short experimental film that explores the contemporary links between human and nature. The sound work echoes the everlasting longing for life of non-human animals facing extinction. The distorted sound of whales and other animals become a crying song, lamenting the destruction of the environment caused by humans. The wailing is interrupted here and there by artificial sounds, breaking and disturbing the image. The work evokes the desperate resistance of non-human animals as the world is becoming more and more uninhabitable for all.
