Sea is the second part of a series of film paintings, where new works are painted upon earlier ones, reusing the same celluloid as the substrate. Embodied by the same corporeal material, these paintings build upon each other like different episodes in the life of a human being. In this way, a series of superimposed films has a resemblance to the development of human psychic system. Events of the bygone episodes remain effective in the present.
