Red Dawn, A Civilian Remake
Séraphin Lena
The work examines war from a civilian perspective, it is based on the 1984 American film ‘Red Dawn’. Set in the near future, a communist invasion of the United States forces civilians to defend themselves. The remake of the original film is a combination of the persistent sound of fire, an image of a red surface, and Finnish archival footage showing a fire after a World War II air raid.
