The video is based on a homevideo in which the Santa Claus visits our family on Christmas Eve. The video is a dramatised reconstruction of this event. In this version, the role of the Santa has transferred from the father to the son. The intruder points out the power relations within the family and dominates the situation.

Björn Aho is a video and performance artist, whose works are installations that often have a performative aspect. They investigate human communication through the construction and deconstruction of fiction. Aho’s works and performances have been presented at festivals as well as in solo and group exhibitions in Finland and abroad since the early 1990s. His works are represented in collections such as the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, Oulu Art Museum and Helsinki Art Museum.
