Is this now the time I should let you go?

Tsai Yi-Chin

Like scenery seen from a moving train, memories are beautiful, blurred, and constantly shifting. This film explores a daughter’s experience of losing her father. After thirteen years of processing her grief, the filmmaker combines video footage, analog film, and animation techniques to create a diary-like atmosphere. In this experimental animated documentary, the filmmaker invites the audience to immerse themselves in the inexpressible emotions of losing a loved one.
