IN THE RAW
Holmström Gun
In the Raw is a kind of self-portrait, a video collage containing a wide range of footage and text from the artist's own environment. It is a story about storytelling in different forms, a saga speaking of, among other things, the spiritual aspects of everyday life. By combining images with no apparent connections, the artist created a space that would allow both for the viewers’ own associations and for the possibility of new stories arising. Disruption is a useful way to lead one’s thought into unpredictable directions.
