The work consists of nine independent parts dealing with the cycle of life, seen through the significant events in the artist’s personal life. The topics are intimate and universal at the same time. Life-Go-Round combines documentary and performative footage: the material may appear simple but it has a strong content.

Sirpa Hirvikoski is a photographic and video artist from Tampere, Finland, who has studied at Lahti Institute of Fine Arts and Design and Tampere University of Applied Sciences School of Art and Media. The works of Hirvikoski have been seen in solo and group exhibitions since the early 1980s.
