Before and After Zeno
Oka Kai
A dense synthesis of Oka's cinematic thinking that exudes mysterious beauty. The film is loosely based on Italo Svevo's modernist novel ”Zeno's Conscience” (1923), and it can be seen as a mythological-poetic self-portrait of its maker.
