Jaakko Pallasvuo’s Heterosexual Love Story screened at WNDX Festival of Moving Image

Jaakko Pallasvuo’s Heterosexual Love Story (2018) will be screened at WNDX Festival of Moving Image, held from October 2–6 in Winnipeg, Canada. Heterosexual Love Story is included in the screening “Who Do You Love?“, screened on Friday, October 4 at 21:00 in the Winnipeg Cinematheque.

In Heterosexual Love Story, the filmmaker tiredly narrates a stereotypical, imagined encounter between a man and woman, abroad two different ships passing each other in the night. 

Jaakko Pallasvuo is an artist. Pallasvuo makes videos, texts, performances and installations that explore the anxieties of being alive now, and the prospect of living in some possible future. In recent years Pallasvuo’s work has been presented at The New York Film Festival, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Kunsthalle St. Gallen and Jupiter Woods, among other places.
