Taija Goldblatt‘s Ocean’s Skeleton has been selected to the International Short Film Competition at 2ANNAS International Short Film Festival held from 4-6 April, 2025 in Riga, Latvia.

Ocean’s Skeleton (2024) is an animation of the ocean’s bones, the joints of the waves, humankind and dark waters.

Taija Goldblatt is a Tampere-based visual artist who works with video, animation and drawing. In her works, she studies the reverse sides of things, the hidden and unnoticed ones, the fractures and the grey areas. Goldblatt’s works are digital, but handmade drawing is strongly present in them.
