Anssi Kasitonni’s Le Saboteur (2022) starts its new festival year 2023 with screenings in international competitions of Stuttgarter Filmwinter, held from January 12–15 2023 in Germany, and Courts mais trash film festival, held in Brussels, Belgium, from January 24–28 2023.

In Stuttgarter Filmwinter, the film is screened in the International Short Film Competition 2 on Friday, January 13, at 15:30. In Brussels, it is included in International Competition 2, screened on Friday, January 27 at 21:00 and 21:15.

In Le Saboteur, an ex-saboteur gets back in the game and every trick will be exposed! A short action film about the joint adventure of indie filmmaking – with all the special effects. Le Saboteur is distributed in collaboration between AV-arkki – Centre for Finnish Media Art and Raina Film Festival Distribution.

In addition, Courts mais trash selected Anssi Kasitonni’s Deus ex Machina (2021) for the competitive screening Born 2 Be Cheap – The Best Cheap Production, screened on Friday, January 27, at 19:15. In Deus ex Machina, the illusion breaks down when the viewer can see the strings.
