Sandra Lola Dada’s Elisabeth (2025) has been selected for the 29th Autumn Festival of PERLEN – Queer Film Festival Hannover, taking place from 22–31 October 2026.

I met a girl in the toilet of a bar… She said I looked nice and we went together to the smoking area where neither of us smoked, we just stroked each other’s hair… The night went on and we danced, giggled and held hands until it abruptly ended with her saying that she has a boyfriend and has to leave.

Sandra Lola Dada (b. 1991) works mainly with video, installation and performance. Her work focuses on DIY culture, feminism and humour. She often examines agency and the “bursting” of everyday life.
