A thorough showcase “Nordic Avant-Garde – Moving Images from the North”, including several treasures from AV-arkki’s archive, will be screened at International Film Festival Message to Man. The programme is curated by Swedish curator Martin Grennberger. IFF Message to Man is held from September 14–21 in St. Petersburg.
Video and 16 mm film screenings will take place at Aurora Cinema on September 15-19, film directors will attend. Finnish programme guests are Sami van Ingen and Mika Taanila.
