Niina Suominen‘s Mindfullmess has been selected for the the Nordic-Baltic short film competition of the Fredrikstad Animation Festival (FAF), taking place from October 21–25, 2026, Fredrikstad, Norway.

Fredrikstad Animation Festival is the leading festival for animated film in the Nordic region, dating back to 1994 and the festival Animerte Dager in Oslo, Norway.

Mindfullmess (2026) is a celebration of neurodiversity. Scattered stimuli dissolve thought into noise—yet within the chaos, a new order emerges as perception shifts into a bodily experience of rhythm and movement, image and sound. What first appears senseless leaves behind traces that may, after all, hold meaning.
