Inversia Festival will present a showcase of short films by the artists of Magneetti Northern Media Culture Association. The festival is held from February 6–8 in Murmansk, Russia. The screening, curated by Panu Johansson, takes place on Friday, February 7, at 17:30.

Panu Johansson: Picturing a Micropolis: 96100-97690 (2018)

A city symphony depicting Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. It is also an entity in which all the details captured on film – images, memories, seasons and neighbourhoods – are swarmed to the viewers retina as an intense kinetic stream.

Arttu Nieminen: Awareness (2019)

Neurocinematic dive into surreal prophecy, where awareness of mankind reaches to the heavens.

Ninni Korkalo: Envy Interviews (2018, in featured image)

Snow White interviews random people about “envy” in the streets of Rio de Janeiro.
