Pasi Autio’s Feel the Heat (2022) was selected to be screened at the 13th edition of Bucharest International Experimental Film Festival, taking place September 26–October 10 in Bucharest, Romania. The film will take part in the international short film competition on September 27 2023.

Feel the Heat depicts a one-man disco in a forest at night, and the atmosphere is magnificent – the lights are flashing, birds are singing, dancing continues and time disappears. The night cannot go on forever and, in the morning, the surrounding reality is revealed.

Pasi Autio (b. 1974, Vaasa, Finland) lives and works in Helsinki. He utilizes photography, moving image and sound. His latest works deal with the interaction between the human mind and the environment; he focuses on seemingly simple but complex things. At the moment, he is interested in reality where realism and imagination mixes into new combination.
