The lost European primeval forest, the Hercynian Forest, rises as a paper set. Small fragments of paper grow to colossal proportions, and the soundtrack consists solely of sounds produced by paper. The video work draws on citations from Pliny the Elder’s Naturalis Historia, in which the mythical primeval forest is mentioned.
