Mariangela Pluchino (b. 1991, Maracay, Venezuela) is a film director and director of photography based between Helsinki, Paris, and Venezuela. After completing her studies in Psychology at the University of Costa Rica, she transitioned to film, earning a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2025, she received a Master’s degree in Cinematography from EICAR, Paris. She is the co-founder of the film collective Film Tonight! and was selected for the 2023 Berlinale Talents Short Form Station with her project Peppermint Diesel 20%.
