The Pig Bliss is a short documentary film that follows the lives of former farm animals and their caretaker, Eveliina, at the Saparomäki Animal Sanctuary. The film presents a possible perspective on the human–animal relationship, where coexistence is based on respect, care, and love.
The work is the final part of Lehtonen’s animal trilogy.

Paula Lehtonen is a media artist working with spatial video. Her work explores the process of digitalisation while expressing a primal yearning for a return to nature. Lehtonen was awarded a Master’s degree by the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture (Media Lab) in 2013.
