The Sequent Of Hanna Ave.
van Ingen Sami
The Sequent of Hanna Ave. is the result of the artist's reworkings of some experimental film practices and his enquiries into the phenomena of the movement-illusionism in the film form. By combining found footage, hand processing and high-end digital technology, he proposes to elevate a few mundane gestures to a new perceptible wholeness, and give some small fingers and an audio-cassette all the attention, grace and drama they somehow deserve. This film was produced partly during van Ingen's residency in Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto in late 2005.
