Granö Veli
A multimedia-documentary based on the colourful stories of thirty Finnish collectors. In the piece they tell about their collecting hobby and their life. The multimedia viewer finds photographs of the collectors “on the film paths”. By choosing different images the viewer may
listen and see each story within different drives.

Veli Granö is an internationally acclaimed and esteemed Finnish contemporary artists. Granö works with photography, installation and film. He has studied at Pori Art School in 1976–78 and Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts in 1983–86. He has worked as a teacher at the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts, Aalto University of Art and Design, and the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, where he has also worked as a professor in Time and Space Arts in 2011 and 2014. In his art, Granö has often explored the theme of alternative realities. His works have been exhibited widely in solo and group exhibition, biennales and festivals Finland, Europe and USA since 1983.
