Sini Pelkki’s Sheet No4 (2018) will be screened at Rencontres Internationales Berlin. The festival will be held as a hybrid of live events at Haus der Kulturen der Welt and online streamings from August 26–30.
Sheet No4 will be screened on Sunday, August 30, at 15:00 in the screening called “Protocol“. Sheet No4 examines the outlines and borders of a photograph and a human being. Sheet No4 refers to a contact sheet; a sketch of a photograph, where different options and outlines are visible. The starting point of the work is interaction and interpretation between Pelkki and the multidisciplinary artist involved in the work; Emma Hammarén, Johan Jonason, Magnús Logi Kristinsson, Keiko Yamamoto as well as cinematographer Pietari Peltola and sound designer Anne Tolkkinen.
