Marko Lampisuo, Marjo Levlin, Sari Palosaari, and Pauliina Salminen in a collaborative exhibition Déplacer l’horizon in Marseille

Marko Lampisuo, Marjo Levlin, Sari Palosaari, and Pauliina Salminen are the Finnish artists participating in Déplacer l’horizon, a collaborative exhibition project between Helsinki, Marseille, and Rabat. Included in the programme of Manifesta 13 biennial, the exhibition was postponed from Autumn season to this February. It is open in the Centre Photographique Marseille until February 27 2021.

In this project, 9 artists from Finland, France and Morocco search for new perspectives, looking at landscape and society. They reflect on the desire of being elsewhere, in another country, another world or another way of life… They question landmarks, lines, the horizon. Look further, try to move the balance. At the same time they discuss artists’ and artworks’ mobility, and their balance between different artistic disciplines.
