‘Fishbones’ is a description of the difficulty of caring and being close. It is a story of a young woman’s daughter’s, attempt to detach herself from her home and memories. ‘Fishbones’ is a visual journey into the daughter’s memories and experiences, up to the present moment. The events are structured and installed as a series of overlapping and inseparable time levels. The work deals with roles in the family, and the search for a new form of father-daughter relationship.
