Hanna Kaihlanen (b. 1990) is a film director, editor and screenwriter. In her editing-driven practice Kaihlanen is often studying the complex relationships between human, nature, and technology. She navigates between the conventions of fiction, documentary, and experimental film. In her work she combines raw found footage with poetic imagery, usually addressing large, global issues from an unusual perspective. Her work has been screened and awarded in various local and international film festivals, galleries, and interdisciplinary events.
