Installation, two video channels, seamless loop |
Synopsis in English
An installation of two synchronized video channels. Two monitors are placed side by side. The woman on the right drinks a glass full of milk. The woman on the left spits the same amount of milk into her own glass. The consumed substance is transported through the monitors’ physical boundaries. They turn their gaze towards the viewer. One of them blinks her eyes. The other one licks her lips. The direction of the movement reverses. This seamless exchange continues between these two, separate spaces.
Synopsis in Finnish
Kahden synkronoidun videokanavan installaatio, jossa kaksi vierekkäin asetettua monitoria. Oikeanpuoleinen nainen juo lasillisen maitoa. Vasemmanpuoleinen nainen sylkee saman määrään maitoa omaan lasiinsa. Kulutettu aine kulkeutuu monitorien fyysisten rajojen lävitse. He kääntävät katseensa katsfa kohti. Toinen räpäyttää silmiään. Toinen nuolaisee huuliaan. Liikkeen suunta muuttuu ja kahden erillisen tilan välillä jatkuu saumaton vaihtokauppa.
