A Man of Glass
Sakari Tervo
“Glass is something that's hard but fragile. It can easily break and cut a wound to one's flesh.” A Man of Glass mixes cell phone video footage with DIA photos and HDcreating a visual portrait in a loose documentary-like style. It generates an associative story of a young man whose life is coloured by melancholy and humour. The ostensible banality of the story turns into a rhizomatic play that does not serve a single closure.
