In 2006 Pink Twins played with a local metal band Zugeer L in Mongolia’s oldest disco, Chameleon Disco Club in Ulaanbaatar. "Sketches of Pain" is based on the concert footage but rather than being a direct documentary, it gets a psychedelic treatment and is a reinterpretation of the meeting between artists and other people with little in common other than music. What happens when artists from different cultural backgrounds, with different languages and musical conventions take to the stage together? Achieving a meeting point inevitably involves great pain.
