Tea Party by Outi Sunila selected for Lago Film Fest, July 24 – August 1
Outi Sunila’s short film Tea Party has been selected for the 11th edition of Lago Film Fest – International Festival of Short Films, Documentaries and Screenplays. The festival takes place in Revine, Italy, between July 24th and August 1st, 2015.
In the film five blind guests arrive to a tea party. A stanger is a potential threat in the darkness, and the event turns into a nightmare for the attendants.
Visual artist Outi Sunila (b. 1970) lives and works in Helsinki, Finland. She has studied in the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and University of Art And Design, Helsinki. Sunila works mainly with video and installation art. Her focus is in social and political themes from the viewpoint of an individual. Her works have been seen in exhibitions and festivals in Finland and internationally. Her works are represented in the collections of e.g. Oulu and Helsinki Art Museums and Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma.
