Retrospective Screening of Erkka Nissinen in Oberhausen, AV-arkki presented at Distributors' Screening, 30 April - 5 May, 2015!
In the course of more than five decades, the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen has become one of the world’s most respected film events. The PROFILES section presents important filmmakers and institutions, some of whom have dealt with the short form for decades. In 2015, Oberhausen’s five PROFILES are dedicated to the works of Ito Takashi (Japan), Erkka Nissinen (Finland), William Raban (Great Britain), Jennifer Reeder (USA) and Vipin Vijay (India). Previously, the programme has presented Finnish artists such as Eija-Liisa Ahtila (2000) and Ilppo Pohjola (2012).
