Sini Pelkki (b. 1978 Helsinki, Finland), lives and works in Helsinki. Her oeuvre comprises of photography, film and video works. Pelkki’s interest lies in the subjectivity of seeing, the images within images. In her works different kind of landscapes, figures and objects turn into layered narratives that lead to various paths and ambigious readings. Sini Pelkki graduated with BA (Hons) Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art & Design, London UK in 2002 and with MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki in 2008.
