Ingrid (born 1973 in Malmö, Sweden lives and works in Tenala Raseborg & Helsinki, Finland) belongs to a new generation of multicultural and multilingual Finnish artists. She was born in Sweden but has studied arts in London UK and lived in Berlin, Stockholm,Estonia, Paris and India. Her recent works explore how identity and gender are continously reshaped. In addition to her multicultural and multilingual background she is a transsexual woman. She works with diverse mediums such as video, sound, photo, text, drawing, painting, installation and performance.
